Sesca Logistics IT launches Fleetlogis FLEX for Road Maintenance
In close cooperation with truck manufacturer, leading road maintenance company and an established bulk haulage company Sesca Logistics IT developed Fleetlogis FLEX service for road maintenance operations.

The users can get into Fleetlogis service with a standard internet browser. The system offers an instant overview of the selected vehicles for managers to see how the operation is progressing. Data history is saved in a database and Fleetlogis FLEX provides multiple tools and detailed reports on working time, mileage, fuel consumption and working hours of gritting and ploughing operations.

The Aplicom A1 FLEX telematics unit is connected to the vehicle hydraulics system to monitor the use of both front and side mounted ploughs as well as the centre-mounted scrapers. The A1 unit also communicates with most common gritter controls, gathers data from the CAN bus and the digital tachograph. The A1 device can be also connected with an optional vehicle PC. Sesca Fleetlogis is a multi-lingual service where the current languages supported are English, Arabic and Finnish.

Aplicom and YellowFox, a major German provider for Internet-based tracking services entered into a partnership to provide connected navigation solutions for YellowFox’s resellers. Tyre pressure monitoring extends tyre lifetime, reduces fuel consumption and improves safety in mining trucks
Dump trucks typically used in open pit mines weight 40 tonnes and have a payload capacity of 55 tons. Gross weight up to 100 tonnes results in high demand for fuel economy and tyre lifetime.

Russian VIST Group has 20 years of experience in providing dispatch control systems and sensor solutions for the mining industry. Being one of the world leaders, VIST Group offers their solutions globally.

Vist Group has combined tyre pressure monitoring, fuel level sensors and the Aplicom A1 in their next generation telematics solution for open pit mines. “Our dispatch and control system significantly improves operational efficiency, and now we can increase tyre lifetime, recude fuel consumption and improve safety,” says Alexei Klebanov, Director Mining Technologies of VIST Group.
